そして速いものは高くて熱いのでゆっくりひやしていってね!!

概要

主にIntelとAMDの二極化がされており(VIA涙目ｗｗ)
2009年現在はIntel優勢ですが、お金が無いKO!はIntelPCなんか組んだことありませんからね!!
AMDまんせー!!!
クロック数が大きければいいというわけでもなく、近年では他コア化が進み速度はクロック周波数が大きいものほど速いが、違う名前のCPU同士ではその限りではない。
デュアルコア、クアッドコア等CPUを擬似的に2個や4個乗せることによってクロックの2倍の仕事4倍の仕事をさせられるからである。
ではどうやって性能を見るんだよということで性能を測ったベンチマークが公式であったり他の人が比較したまとめがあったりする

AMDCPUとIntelCPUに互換性は無く、さらにCPUはピン数が違っているため刺さるソケットが決まっている。
